Is this something new? I don't know how grown people can say with a straight face"that's my play sister".A person either is or is not your relative.If you are filling out a legal and binding document, can you address a reference as "oh, that's my play aunt"?(or cousin or whatever the case may be).I have heard this phrase several times now and would like to be enlightened.I don't know what category to put this under so I'll just "play" choose one.

Hi Joey, just dropping a question to you. Are we going to have anymore really hot days this year?I hope not. I so enjoyed the cool wind today. I could've done without the rain but it was a great tradeoff.

I'm so tired of people insulting Americans and talking as if we don't have a right to our thoughts in our own country.You are visitors, we belong here! I think Americans try to be civil to all nationalities but all we get back is some Bulls--t about how we should treat people from other countries and we should think and believe like them. If they are so friggin happy with their countries and their beliefs and ways  then BY DAMN go home!!!!I'm happy being an American and I'm happy to be in America and I'm DAMN PROUD of our American soldiers.While others are talking about Americans behind their backs why don't they go ahead and kiss our BLEEP while they are there.And the ones talking in our face you can do the same.

I have to say GREAT JOB Memphians!!!!Finally did something for the right reasons. I'm proud of our voters for speaking up and letting NIkki Tinker know we are not idiots who will fall for anything. You can lead us to water" BUT "you can't make us drink. Congrats to Steve Cohen!!!

My neighbor and I were talking and she said MLG&W turned her utilities off after she paid her bill. They came right back and turned them back on (obviously they made a mistake). She received a letter in the next couple of days stating she overpaid by $40.00. She was delighted but today she got a letter or bill, stating she would be billed $46.00 for the reconnect fee. Okay am I missing something here? They made a mistake and she has to pay the cost. I think they need to fire everyone in customer service and administration and start all over again. Get someone, anyone who is honest and caring about "ALL" of the citizens of Memphis. Would help if they were computer literate and could hit the right keys. Spelling would be  a good idea then they could get the names right on their forms.
Has anyone else known of a similar case? ( I know, silly question) Oh yes I forgot to mention they replaced utility cables, she doesn't know why and they left the old cables lying in her back yard. I guess there is not any copper in those lines.

I SAW MARK BYARS ON THE NEWS TONIGHT AND IT TURNED MY STOMACH. HE WAS NOT CHRISTOPHER BYARS REAL FATHER HE MARRIED CHRIS' MOM WHO WAS A HEROIN AND DILAUDID JUNKIE. THE BABY REALLY BELONGS TO RIC MURRAY OF FRAYSER. I WAS THERE THE NIGHT CHRIS WAS BORN AND FEARED FOR HIS POOR LITTLE LIFE EVERY SINCE MELISSA GOT WITH MARK. SHE SAID MARK ADOPTED CHRIS. RIC WAS ALSO SCARED OF MARK IF YOU'VE SEEN HIM YOU'LL KNOW WHY. HE HAS A BRAIN TUMOR AND GETS MEDS FOR IT. I MEAN REAL STUFF. DON'T KNOW WHY HE SAYS HE'S CHRIS' DAD. MELISSA OD'D BUT MAYBE NOT BY HERSELF. I THINK SHE KNEW MORE THAN SHE COULD TELL. I OFTEN WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRIS'1/2 BROTHER RYAN. HEARD HE WAS DOING THE DRUGS WITH THEM. SOOOO SAD.

I GET SO SICK OF HEARING EVERYTHING IS ABOUT AND OR BECAUSE I'M BLACK!!!GET OVER IT !!!WE CAN'T CHANGE YOUR SKIN COLOR BUT HOPEFULLY SOMEONE CAN MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND PEOPLE SOMETIMES DON'T LIKE OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE BUTTHEADS NOT BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN. I WORKED WITH PREDOMINANTLY BLACK PEOPLE FOR 25 YEARS. WE WORKED AS A TEAM AND CARED ABOUT EACH OTHER. HOWEVER THERE WERE SOME PEOPLE OF ALL RACES WHO WERE NOT LIKEABLE PEOPLE.I'M SURE SOME PEOPLE DID NOT LIKE ME BUT NOT BECAUSE OF MY RACE! MORE LIKELY BECAUSE AT TIMES I WAS NOT A LIKEABLE PERSON. WISE UP THE RACE CARD HAS PLAYED OUT.
