How To Elect a Black or Hispanic President

If the Democratic Party fails to endorse Obama after his winning the Popular and Delegate votes it should be a revelation to minorities. I believe that Blacks and Hispanics should rethink their party affiliation if Obama is not endorsed. I am convinced that the Media is conspiring to keep the Oval Office the same color as the white house and will ensure that Obama does not receive the democratic nomination by focusing on Jeremiah Wright's sermons rather than Obama's platform.

When and if the Democrat's fail to nominate Obama it should signal to every black and hispanic in America that it is time to form their own political party to serve the interest of the disenfranchised.

I do not believe that every White democrat or republican is  a racist, however we must do whatever is necessary to make sure that we are politically represented. Separating  from Main Stream political parties may become our only opportunity to have equal representation in the political process.

Hispanics and Blacks account for 33% of the voting population if not more and combining the voting strength of the two minorities would certainly ensure the election of a minority candidate.

Democrats
Do the right thing. Nominate Obama. America's future depends on a Change

Hoe about voting for the best candidate to represent America - no matter what their race, religion or anything else?

The best candidate this time happens to be black

A party based solely on race is the citizens council, or the KKK.

Anybody forming a political party nowadays better be doing it because of agenda & not race.

What's the agenda? I mean, the meat & potatoes stuff?
How exclusionary is this Black & Hispanic party?
Can Asians join? How about whites?
What would the party be doing that is different than Republicans or Democrats?

What about ballot access? How far down ticket is this party? What level do they start?

And why a political party as opposed to a political action commitee?

Whites have the republican and democratic party and yes you can join if you accept the agenda. Dont' you require black, asians, and hispanic to accept your party agenda if they want to participate?

Obama has yet to expound his agenda on the benefits this country will see if he is elected president. Why should he be voted in just becouse he is half black?

Nope. Accepting the agenda is not required to join a party.
accepting the agenda is for candidates who seek party support & funding, and not necessarily lay members, & constituents.

Independents put political parties on & off like fashion. They are not loyal to the party. They are loyal to the agenda. If your party does not accept or promote my agenda, then my vote will be cast with the one that will. Is how it works. For some people, political parties are only vehicles. To be used, and discarded if & when they are useless. They are not religions and do not engender such deep support. They are utilatarian

Which brings me back to the questions you haven't answered yet.

1-What's the agenda? I mean, the meat & potatoes stuff?
2-What would the party be doing that is different than Republicans or Democrats?
3-And why a political party as opposed to a political action commitee?
4-What about ballot access? How far down ticket is this party? What level do they start?

He should be voted for because he is the best candidate. The failure to nominate him will signal to black America that whites only want White in power. This has to and will stop by forming this new party.

It will be doing what the Demorcratic and Republican party fails to do. Elect the best person who happens to be a black man.

You had me for a minute. But you can't sell the idea that you are promoting. Vagaries ain't enough to make people jump ship. The Republican & Democratic parties are imperfect in an imperfect system, true, but they are Cruise ships & Destroyers. Big efficient things. Ain't nobody gonna hop off established vessels to ride on a rickety dinghy. "Ideals" with no plan & ideals with no agenda is useless in politics. Real politick is deeper than race. You proposed a coalition without proposing a unifying rallying principle. Unless, all there is to this coalition is "against whites". But at some point a person & party has to be FOR something. Being against something is defensive. What is the purpose, or OFFENSE of this party.

If you are trying to sell this idea, you gotta wrap this in a different package.

to say: whites only want White in power. is useless without further definition. You got to unpack this. Because it's been my experience that whites don't care who is in power, as long as they can influence that person. Or persuade him/her to promote their agenda. For example, Memphis has a black mayor. That mayor's term has benefitted banks & real estate developers enormously. He's been better to "whites" (& corporate entities) than he has for "hoods". By better I mean, he's created more wealth for them than he has for average/everyday/workaday brothers with black faces.

That's because of allegiance & agenda. Black & brown face don't mean squat. Black people put him in office, other people bought him out. "White power" is crafty. You can't play the race card with them. T

CONT.

That's because of allegiance & agenda. Black & brown face don't mean squat. Black people put him in office, other people bought him out. "White power" is crafty. You can't play the race card with them. They bought the deck to the game. Amassing power centered around race (only) is tired. Time for new strategies & new tactics.

No one should be voted in because they are black, hispanic or white. It should be based soley on their accomplishments and their abilities to improve our country. Not because they are or are not a minority. To say otherwise stinks of racism. Period.

Since when did blacks, hispanics and asians line up to vote for a black man?
Blacks don't like asians or hispanics! I guess this ralley I see advertised to mend fences is just another political plot and will go back to the norm after the election. I hope the hispanic and asains have enough since to know this trick that is being played on them! Besides we do not need a muslum for our leader.

I don't care what a person's religion is. I care about his agenda. I care about his ethics & principles. What does a person stand for? What's his purpose?

Whatever blinder a person wears that prevents him from understanding the "universal brotherhood", is wrong.

All Black. All White. All Jewish. All Christian. All Mexican. All this. No that. It's when taken to extremes, motifs of the same madness. Variations on the same theme of bigotry & narrow mindedness. Exclusion is polarizing.

I don't know when we'll learn.

You should know the difference between racism and survival, the native Americans who fpigjt against the Whites were not racist but a race trying to survive and trying to keep what was being stole from them. Your people chose to stop fighting in order to survive, if you call it survival. Blacks and Hispanics choose a route of survival not racism

Integrity, I have a question. What makes Obama the right person for the office? What does he say or do that really motivates you?
