After reading this article I am just baffled what would make a 15 year old child killed a 17 year old child?   Where are these children getting their guns?  Why are they so angry? Why must everything be so crucial that a life has to end to resolve the issue?  No one wants to talk things out anymore.  This is just senseless! Where’s the compassion? Where’s the love? Where's the fear? These kids fear nothing!!!! God have mercy on us!

We are loosing our children Foxy. Sad, but true. These kids now don't fear anyone or anything. I never thought I would see the day that children packed heat. We had fist fights when I was growing up, and then we played within the next few minutes. Everyone screams they don't want to be "disrespected", when they don't respect themselves. Why are our children so angry? I have all males, and I am scared for them. I pray that they will never become involved or caught up on this nonsense. When will they get it?

You posed the right question, foxy. Where are they getting these guns?

Yes, Mskaytenn I remember those times when kids just fought with their fist. I don't know why these kids feel they have to take each others lives to resolve issues.

Irishoaks, I wondering are these the parents guns, friends, whose?

Kids will tell you it doesn't take much effort to get a gun. One thing kids can do as well as adults is network. They know how to get their hands on things, and those things include weapons.

The enviroment many kids are in has alot to do with why they do certain things. To furhter explain, many kids are bored doing the same thing all the time and have nothing to do in the summer, which does not give them the right to kill anyone; by NO means. Its sad because we could have just lost our next doctor, teacher, lawyer to gun violoence. Therfore, as the world changes with so many negative images, we have to help our kids focus their attention toward the positive. How do we start? Programs should be established where kids are able to learn about different career paths they may want to take, and learn what can help them get there. Also heard many times before, young people need role models. Role Models do make a tremendous difference, and they still exist. I will not give up on my generation, by continuing to keep young people like myself and others in my prayers.
