The Mayor called another press conference but I did not have time to pop popcorn.  I hate that because I knew he was going to be entertaining.  It seems like this conference was more of a venting session.  Mayor Herenton I hope you got it all off your chest.  I fell out on the floor when he mentioned blogs,etc working on the minds of the public.  I don’t allow blogs or any other news source to sway my opinion.  LOL! I go by THE facts!  Mayor Herenton if you are not guilty of anything let them investigate. My advice is keep your nose clean!

 One of the Mayor's famous quotes:  "I never worked in corporate America because I've always been a free man. ... Therefore, I could never work on a plantation. Some of these corporations are plantations."

 Gotta love the Mayor of Memphis!

After reading this article I am just baffled what would make a 15 year old child killed a 17 year old child?   Where are these children getting their guns?  Why are they so angry? Why must everything be so crucial that a life has to end to resolve the issue?  No one wants to talk things out anymore.  This is just senseless! Where’s the compassion? Where’s the love? Where's the fear? These kids fear nothing!!!! God have mercy on us!

BYHALIA, MS - A 15 year-old Mississippi boy has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of another teen.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, 15 year-old Ramill Cortez has been charged with Murder for shooting Terrell Richmond, 17, in Byhalia, Mississippi. 

And investigators say a 16 year-old, who was encouraging the shooting, may be charged as well.  Police say the 16 year-old will be transported from Corinth to Byhalia where charges may be filed later Wednesday, June 25, 2008.

The shooting happened at a house on Highway 309, late Tuesday afternoon, June 24th.

Sheriff’s investigators say they do not yet know what led up to the shooting.

When I saw this on the news a 33 year old woman coaching two kids to fight.  One of the 9 year olds in the fight was the 33 year old woman’s son he was losing the fight.  Mom with her big self jumps in the fight beating the 9 year old over the head and in his back.  The mother of the 9 year old who was victimized why did she not call the police instead of just filming the lady attacking her son?  When I was a kid adults never got in little kids fights because most of the time we would fight that day and start back playing together before we were called in the house for dinner. If they intervene it was to break it up NOT join in. This 33 year old mother seems like she is a bully. She needs to be charged and locked up immediately.  You can not go around putting your hands on other people children.  They named several charges they may bring her up on they may want to add indecent exposure and disturbing the peace. LOL!
