Emmy Awards Ceremony...January 26th

On Saturday January 26th, Emmy awards will be handed out to Fox 13 and the other Memphis television stations.  You may have heard Fox-13 has been nominated for 21 Emmy awards, more than the other three stations combined.  We are all proud of the nominations and excited about the ceremony which will be held in Nashville.  If you would like to watch the awards show, you can do it right from your computer.  There will be a live video stream at:

The stream starts at 8:00pm on the 26th.

Fox-13 is nominated in some of the top categories.

Good Morning Memphis is nominated for best daytime newscast. (Yayyyy!)

Fox-13 news is also nominated for its' Weekend Newscast, and for the second

year in a row, Fox-13 is nominated in the most prestigious category of them all, News Excellence.

Sure wish you were going to be there with us. It will be lonely up on that stage...no wait, Tom Dees will represent GMM with me!
And, keep your fingers crossed for Bargain Thursday. Our "Diamonds and Angels" stories from last May got nominated, too.

LOL Best your to funny, Hey Val and Ernie I think you all need Best on your show, ohhhhhhhh get her to do somin, not sure but you all would really crack me up in the mornings. Even though you do already, there is nothing BETTER than a GOOD laugh in the mornings. Thats what makes my blogs go around~~~~, Just like that dang Pit Bull dog thing, I started to blog about what almost happen to me but I did not because I figured people did not want to hear about my personal life, but hey there you go Ernie it is all on your blog, lololol I am sorry I got so mad and acted Like I did, but there is no way to get through to those people until I got to the end, and still don't know if I am done yet, depends on them, I can make you a 400 comment page. lolol LOVE YOU ERNIE!!!

Sonnygll, I had to stop reading after 124 comments on the pit bull thread. I had to get some sleep. It was Valerie's suggestion to post that blog by the way. Not sure if I will be able to catch up on that one today, and by the time I have time, there might be 400 comments. Ya know, I've noticed Bestadvice is always dropping a little snarkiness and sarcasm on the blogs. I got my eye on her. I'm sure the station will bring home some hardware. Valerie has an individual nomination for Bargain Thursday and GMM is nominated as a show. The news team has eleven or twelve nominations and our promotions team has the other ten or eleven, so I'm confident we'll bring home something...just not sure what.

You all are the Best!! I am going to watch this on the 26th for sure.
Oh well your blog is almost at 200, I think I am just about done with those people that were all friends and had to log on to back each other up, It was getting hard to keep up with the comments. But anyways It did give me something to do and I did laugh at most of what all they were saying but then I turned when I was being called names, grr got mad then:)

Yeah that Bestadvice is something else.

Sonny,

Sorry about the way you got 'jumped' on that pit bull blog. There were so many comments that I couldn't keep up. I haven't been blogging long, but that has to be the longest one I have seen since I joined. Enrni picked a good one to post. I really didn't have much to say about that topic. I know that is shocking since I almost always have something to say. You keep standing up for what you believe in, no matter how many people are against you. I admire you for that.

And yep, you got me right on target Ernie. I am a smarty pants. But I am just trying to keep up with my emmy nominated buddies on Fox13!


Good luck Fox13! Although luck has very little to do with it. You guys are very talented and you present the news in a very people friendly way. You make the Mid-south proud!

Best ,,yeah that was one heck of a blog, I decided it was time for me to stop bloggin on it, since they were POin me off and they could read that I was not for killing ALL pit bulls, I was trying to get through their thick heads that I was talking about the ones the are out to kill and maul people, but they just can't read things right or just don't care, so I got tired of fighting with them and all the name calling, sheww it was a wild ride Friday night for sure, but I am done with that blog, and Ernie's comment was right on target!!

Ernie I say if you were to do an inter view with that Memphis lady, I would like it to be UN- Edited, I would bet anything they would have all their not so trusted Pits in a cage locked up and have the puppies and their SWEET older ones running around to make it all look good. I would just like to see how those dogs would react to you and your film crew being around them, Even though I am sure this will never take place, but if it did, I would want it UN-EDITED, let it all be real.
