There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this!
When people can walk away from you: let them walk.

I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you,
loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you,
staying attached to you.
I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk.
Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

People leave you because they are not joined to you.
And if they are not joined to you,
You can't make them stay.
Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person,
it just means that their part in the story is over.
And you've got to know when people's
part in your story is over so that you
don't keep trying to raise the dead.

You've got to know when it's dead.
You've got to know when it's over.
Let me tell you something.
I've got the gift of good-bye.
It's the tenth spiritual gift,
I believe in good-bye.

It's not that I'm hateful; it's that I'm faithful,
and I know whatever God means for me to have
He'll give it to me.
And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it.
Stop begging people to stay.
Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something
that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life,
then you need to  .LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains...
LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth...
LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you...
LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge..
LET IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction ...
LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or
talents ..
LET IT GO!!!

If you have a bad attitude...
LET IT GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better...
LET IT GO!!!

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new
level in Him...
LET IT GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship....
LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help
themselves..
LET IT GO!!!

If you're feeling depressed and stressed ...
LET IT GO!!!

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling
yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to...
LET IT GO!!!

Let the past be the past.
Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a new thing for you!!!
LET IT GO!!!

Hello everyone, As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to 'The War Zone'. I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States . I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country. If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

Saint Peter was manning the Pearly Gates when 40 
people from Memphis city gov't showed up. 
 
 
Never having seen anyone from Memphis city gov't at 
heaven's Door, Saint Peter said 
he would have to check with God. 
 
 
After hearing the news, God instructed him to admit 
the ten most virtuous 
people from the group. 
 
 
A few minutes later, St. Peter returned to God, 
breathless, and said, “They're gone!' 
 
 
'What? All of the Memphis city officials are gone?' 
asked God. 
 
 
“No! Not all the officials!'' , replied Saint Peter. 
"I meant the Pearly Gates...they’re gone!!”

I was taught that when you are driving and you see a funeral procession coming towards you, you are supposed to stop until the procession has passed. Right?

I was coming down Airways Saturday on the way to the flea market when I saw a funeral procession coming (I think it was the funeral for Hollis Seals). I stopped immediately (yes it was in the middle of the street) and let the procession pass. This old witch (with a B) got right on my butt and started honking the horn, when I looked in my rearview mirror she was  just gesturing with her hands and yelling. I thought, dang! that is so disrespectful! So I sat there until the whole procession passed and started on my way again.  When the witch got up beside me, she had the nerve to flip me the bird! Can you believe that?

Isn't the respectful thing to do is pull over or stop until the procession has passed - or at the very least the hearse and the family members in the limos? Tell me if I'm wrong but I don't think so.

Thaddeus Matthews has pictures of one of the victims of the Lester St murders, Shindri Roberson, on his website. That is so disrespectful to her family and to her! No matter how she lived her life, this is not "newsworthy"! He even stated in the comments section of his blog that he went to the funeral home and took the pictures himself. I mean, Good God, let the woman have some dignity in death!

 Thaddeus Matthews is not a journalist - he's the biggest piece of BLEEP there ever was! And someday, something terrible may happen to him or one of this family members and do you think he would want those death pictures posted all over someone's blog for the whole world to see? I think not.

And for all of those who defended Thaddeus Matthews when he wrote the blog on Dexter Cox and Ed Vidulich, can you defend him now? I don't think there is a defense for this kind of maliciousness!

Does anyone think there is a link between the legalization of abortion and killing innocent children? Think about it. Before abortion was legalized 35 years ago, you didn't hear of people killing their children. Now,  every day you hear about another child (or children) dying at the hands of their parents.

I think by legalizing abortion, the government told us that the life of child doesn't mean anything, it's worthless. Now people have taken that liberty even further and decided that they can kill innocent children, born or not.
