Why in the world would the news give out the name and website of the girl who filmed porn in the Bartlett park? How irresponsible was that? Not only do children watch the news but I'm guessing she was right in saying" there is no such thing as bad publicity". I am sure she had a surge in hits on her website due to the info given out on the report. Come on guys, use some common sense before you report the facts to the public.

For the past 7 years I have seen a marked MPD patrol car sitting idle all day and all night in the parking lot of the Jewish Community Center in the 6000 block of Poplar. It is obvious that this car is not being used to control speeding traffic because it sometimes sits in the back of the building. Why is this allowed? This car could have been rotated to sit at these troubled schools. Who is paying for this car? Why is the Center singled out for this "service"? I am sure all businesses in this city would love to have a usable patrol car sit in front of their business, not to mention all the residents that would LOVE this preferred treatment. PEOPLE, GET MAD AT THE THIS MISUSE OF YOUR TAXES. You cannot convince me that the Center cannot afford to hire a private security service like all the other businesses in this town. Put this car at one of the local schools where it is needed, not where people go to play ping pong.

I drive about 200 miles a day on the memphis streets. It is not that I am trying to pick on smokers but if you were in traffic as much as I am you would certainly see how smokers far out number drinkers when it comes to throwing something out the window. And tell me why do smokers think thumping a butt out of the window is not littering. Is it because it is such a small item? Trash is trash is trash.

Please smokers keep an ashtray in your car. Cigarette butts are the mose littered item there is. Not to mention during a dry summer it can easily start a fire. How would you like to have a grass fire start then burn up acres and acres of land or maybe even someone's home. Have some common sense and keep your butts to yourself, out of my yard and off my streets.
