I don't know how many people were affected by Comcast's signal issues over the weekend, but I was.  On several seperate occasions their broadcasts (all of them) were interupted.  Their signal just went away.  I was remaining basically fairly calm about this until Saturday night.  I was up later than usual because there was a movie on that I was really enjoying.  So here it is the middle of the night and the movie is getting to the end, it's all good right.  Not, seven minutes before the end, no signal.  The screen full of static lasted until less than one minute from the end.  Most of the characters seemed to have survived, I guess it came out okay.  Before you ask, there is nothing wrong with our equipment or connections.  The problem is with Comcast.  You know, they expect, no they demand, their bills to be paid in a consistent uninterupted manner.  It's ridiculus that you can't say that about their service.

Oh yeah when they want their money, and don't get in time, your cut off, that is how most of everything is, but you don't get reimburse for the services being interrupted from their side, I have heard about this happening with comcast and the cutting off a lot. DircTV will cut off only if there is a huge rain storm headed towards the signal.

The only company I use that has those extortion like tactics with low quality service is MLGW. I've already had the comcast experience and it sucks.

Don't forget 'The New Bellsouth', I mean The New AT&T... they are just as bad as the rest...

If you are having problems with your comcast service, please call customer service follow the prompts and report the problem you are having,and ask that something should be taken off your bill, I did this and the took 25 dollars off my bill. My service was acting up about 3 to 5 days, and I pay a little over a hundred a month. Just a suggestion.

are you kidding me
that may have worked for you but not for me
after they cut my crap off and my bill was paid because its taken out automatically
my husband spent over thirty mins
tryin to get someone to talk to
after all his yelling and going off i took the phone and called it then took me over 45 mins to get someone on the line then when i did they kept trans...me to someonne else
follow the prompts my ass
after someone finally got someone i thought was going to do their job she told me that she had to check to see if my bill was paid
i then totally and i mean totally went off on her
when she came back on the line she said how sorry she was and all that crap
but that doesnt help me
they need to get their act together
its just as someone up there said they want their money and dont give us the service we deserve or need
but i dont think comcast will be getting better

morth, I understand your Anger, but it is not the customer rep's fault,I know it feels good to bless somebody out for your inconvenience, but you will "catch more flies with honey than with vinegar", people feel more like helping you if they are not being attacked. Most businesses that are service companies are more than willing to do what it takes to keep their customers. That is NOT true of MLGW,because they have a monopoly in this area,so if you do use them you are in the dark, no water, and no heat and air.

morth, I think you said on some blog that you were a nurse, well if you are, you know how it feels to take the heat for a decision that a doctor made about a patient, and the patient was upset about it.

what you say is true
but i do get mad and with good reason when you talk to people and they keep sending you to someone else
that kind of crap does get under peoples skin
and its even worse in this case because i was talking to the right person from the get go
why did they have to keep trans... me when the first person i got could have handled it

no its not right to get mad that may be true
but people can take only so much oh and in this case i do feel that it was the reps..... fault
because there was no need to send people all over the globe
