I keep hearing Senator McCain and Senator Obama telling me how awesome this country will be once they get in office. Uh, just a thought here guys...aren't you already in Office?
Tom
Who are you going to vote for Tom? A friend posed that question to me the other day. I honestly don't know. In the course of elections, I've voted Republican, Democrat and Independent. I have a personal distrust of all politicians, It goes back to my dad being a Vietnam Vet.
I've always compared voting for a politician to buying insurance from an insurance salesman. You are buying into something that you really can't grasp, something you may or may not be able to get your hands on, and something that may look good in theory and on paper, but it may not be there when you need it, because the policy may change.
Just my thoughts.
Tom
That's probably why I do traffic, and I don't do political reporting. When it comes to my voting record, I've voted Democrat, I've voted Republican, and I've voted independent. But to be honest with you. I don't trust any of them anymore. You can't convince me that they are in it to help me. When's the last time any one of these fools running for public office has come to my house and done the dishes, or helped change one of my child's diapers. I think they are all just interested in lining their pockets.
Overall, I keep it on the positive in life, but I don't believe a word that comes out of their mouths, I think if I ever had to go talk to a politician face to face, I'd have to walk down a crooked road, past a crooked fence, to talk to a crooked man or woman who was lining their pockets with my hard earned dollars.
People have often told me to vote for the lesser of two evils, but when both candidates have their horns showing, what do you do.
Tom.
