Yesterday morning I went to the scene of an accident where a car rear ended a school bus...or more like the car went up underneath the school bus from behind, more than half of the car was under the school bus from the back end.

Witnesses say the car ran the stop light and slammed into the back of the school bus...fortunately there were no children on board the bus at the time.

I don't get it, HOW DO YOU RUN INTO THE BACK OF A SCHOOL BUS? IT'S BIG AND IT'S YELLOW...So I guess that makes it hard to see?

irishoaks, that's right I read the same thing. The California engineer was texting at the time of the accident. They didn't know is that what's cause the accident or not.

Tom,their not blind. I know that bus is big enough for them to see it,they was distracted by something like sonnygll said.

Police Officers needs to start giving out tickets to the texters.Let it be a large amount of money when they are fine. I bet you they will stop texting while they are driving.

Yeah it just hit me while thinking of that Big Yellow bus,

I don't think the cops would catch many texting unless the people are really into it and not see the cop, but if they do see a cop they can always put the phone down and act as if nothing is going on, I say also let the citizens write down the tag number on people they see texting and hand it over to the police, and let those texters have a big ole fine mailed to there home. But I would guess they would try to fight it because of no proof, it would have to be the law seeing them and pullin them over.

GRRRRRRRRRR On texting!!
