In these Presidential/Political ads that are being aired right now you see oil and gas prices becoming the big issue.

Okay, Senator Barack Obama claims that John McCain is for tax breaks for big oil....and on the Other side of things, you See Senator John McCain saying that  Barack Obama voted against off shore drilling.

So, if you want cheaper gas prices....who do you vote for.

I'll tell you what your third party option is, your third party option in this case is to Vote for Tom Dees and Watch Cheap Gas Friday every week on Fox 13....and go to our new Gas Tracker here at MYFOXMEMPHIS.COM

The American people need to wake up because states in the Bible in Revelation that a man in his 40's of muslin descent will rule our country and trick people into believing him and then he will turn on us and destory our country. READ THE BIBLE

pat---teeheehee

I heard on the tv news--which is why I never listen to the news--that Obama said and it was his voice, for us to put more air in our tires.

irishoaks, I agree with you that was a very silly statement made by Senator Obama. I think that rhetoric was used in the 70's as a measure to preserve gas. Also, the practice of getting regular tuneups would help preserve gas. Although, I am an Obama supporter; I still find a lot of things to laugh about in this election year.

Let me say this......cheaper gas prices will not be accomplished by either of the fools running for President. Neither of them can lower gas prices as long as the big oil companies are bending us over every time we fill up.

Exxon made $1400 a second on the last quarter of this year. Can anyone comprehend that? Government taxing the oil companies will only raise the prices.

Drilling more wells will only help if that oil is guaranteed to stay in the U.S.

As far as I can see it, no matter which person we elect as President, this Country is screwed.

I know Ex Pat, it was rather shameless, wasn't it...lol, but I've been watching these ads, and I couldn't help it. The truth is, the Gas Tracker thing works, I use it all the time, it will definitely find you the cheapest gas. As for the politicians...they leave me fumin'

Not only do we need to drill our oil, we need to update and have our own refineries. We need to get our own wind mills, water mills, solar powered systems, and yes, nuclear powered systems. We need to divorce ourselves from foreign oil..Obama said we need to end the age of oil. I do not agree. but we need to end the age of foreign dependence. We need to be a soverign nation again.
