At work I complain about a few things, they I get on the road and complain some more, only to come home and complain about a little more. So at work I made a list to see have God really, bless me today.

1I got up in my right mind and during my sleep no one came into our home and harmed us nor taken our belongings.

2. My children are safe and alive and doing fine as well as my husband.

3. We are not living on a  street, box or homeless shelter.

4.We have food to eat ( might not be all what we want but it is there).

5. Or family is okay and doing fine.

6.I was able to start my car, go to work, and be safe getting there and being at work.

7. Stress did not make me have a heart attack, stroke, or anyother illness.

8. We are able to pay our bills and make arrangsments  to pay them

9. I have a piece of a job

10. I have a home to go to

11. I have my marriage

12. We are focus on God and not the problem.

Now the complain is small and the praise is great. have God blessed you lately?

im blessed every day of my life. i wake up every morning breathing and alive. especially since im a liver transplant patent with cancer. so yes i am very blessed. thank GOD

Other small blessings: We flip a switch-light.
We turn a knob-water. We look outside at night-street lights. We pick up our phones-dial tones. We turn on our appliances-work assist. We turn on our DVD's, tv's, ipod's, etc-entertainment. We have fingers with which to type-connection with the outside world. We breathe without thought, our hearts beat and move life sustaining blood throughout our bodies without our effort. We open our eyes and see. We put food and liquid in our mouths and are sustained and pleasured with nourishment. How many ways.?

I count my blessings every night, or at least try to. We have hot water, I have my children, our pets that are dear to us, I am able to get an education to build myself a better future, etc. I get up every morning and thank God for a new day and give myself to God and his will for me. Thank you Heavenly Father for all the wonderful blessings.

The_Okay_Pro_Se

The rest of the year is for my dog Tootsie or Toots who passed away August 18,2008 at home. She was a stray that found us and we had 5 great years with her. She was an abused dog and if you ever came to the house, she would hobble (bark) as you would leave. She loved us and protected us. When my daughter left she had her own room and I find myself looking for her in that room which is across my bedroom Toots came into our lives when I was dealing with some heavy stuff and it seem that God brought us to comfort us and make sure we were together for the end of the journey. She got sick last year and was not the same. Old Toot is buried with our other family dogs in my sister's yard. She has a headstone to remind us that even if you are small, you can be a fighter. She taught me that. On a funny note, when you gave her something to eat and she was finish with it and wanted more, she would wait for you to ask her and then lick her lips... it was a trip because she understood what you were saying. I love you and miss you Tootise...you are free and healed
