I finally got to lulu and have ordered a copy. Was surprised the S & H was as much as the book near 'bouts, but am looking forward to reading this.
You know my son and his family just lost their home. Their bank sold their mortgage (fixed, to boot) and the new company tripled the payments to more than he even made. This was a big slam. So there are many personal reasons for reading your book, too. Not the same as yours. And I know the two situations can not compare as from the excerpts, that was your family's home.
Honey. I hurt so much. Both for you and my son. If I could hug through this keyboard, I'd give you one.

It's ok okay. I just ordered standard book shipping. It is what came up on the order form. Next book you write, I'll just order directly from you.
Now if I ever get around to writing my novel, I'll let you know and you can order mine. How's that?

The rest of the year is for my dog Tootsie or Toots who passed away August 18,2008 at home. She was a stray that found us and we had 5 great years with her. She was an abused dog and if you ever came to the house, she would hobble (bark) as you would leave. She loved us and protected us. When my daughter left she had her own room and I find myself looking for her in that room which is across my bedroom Toots came into our lives when I was dealing with some heavy stuff and it seem that God brought us to comfort us and make sure we were together for the end of the journey. She got sick last year and was not the same. Old Toot is buried with our other family dogs in my sister's yard. She has a headstone to remind us that even if you are small, you can be a fighter. She taught me that. On a funny note, when you gave her something to eat and she was finish with it and wanted more, she would wait for you to ask her and then lick her lips... it was a trip because she understood what you were saying. I love you and miss you Tootise...you are free and healed
