What if there was no video?

the person that was beaten in the jail was very bless. why? because someone risked their job and life to make sure that video got out in the public and showed what Memphis Police always state, they can not confirmed an incident.

Back in the early 90's I was driving a 10 year old car and the clutch was going out. Now if you drive a 5 speed and then you know what I mean. My car was slow taking off and was not getting any speed because of the clutch. I was going down Southern and I had just cashed my 415 child support check and was dividing my money when I just so happen look up and there was this officer in front of me telling me to stop.  God was with her because if my clutch was working I would have unknowingly ran over her.

She pulled me over and gave me a ticket for speeding. When I asked for her supervisor I was told to get out of the car and she arrested me.  I was put in her car and she only searched the front where my money was. I asked her could I get my purse and she gave me that but claim she did not see any money in the front passenger seat.

to make sure that I had no claim my car was told. I had to scrape up money to get my car out and spent 4 hours in jail.  I filed a complaint and when I went to court, the case was dismissed after I video my car and had a shop to verify my clutch was worn badly.

I stayed on that complain for two years and I never got my money back

If that tape was not there that Officer would have been doing the same thing. Has it come to the point that we need to keep a video recorder or a camera in the car to watch each other's back?
Sadly to this, it is bad that we have to be afraid of criminals, now the cops.

are you saying that in a positive way or what. they are abusers of the law and I have no respect for them . they could have been the ones doing you wrong

I am saying the 2 cops would had gotten away with this. And still be out abusing you and me. Not all cops are bad. Only b/c there are a few bad apples does not mean they are all bad. I have came in contact with both. Bad & good. If you have no respect for them tell me how would you handle a situation of a home invasion or some family member that got shot? Would you call the cops and have it investigated? Or would you not do nothing at all?

this was years years ago. Oh I am been plenty of time.... 90 percent the plaintiff

The rest of the year is for my dog Tootsie or Toots who passed away August 18,2008 at home. She was a stray that found us and we had 5 great years with her. She was an abused dog and if you ever came to the house, she would hobble (bark) as you would leave. She loved us and protected us. When my daughter left she had her own room and I find myself looking for her in that room which is across my bedroom Toots came into our lives when I was dealing with some heavy stuff and it seem that God brought us to comfort us and make sure we were together for the end of the journey. She got sick last year and was not the same. Old Toot is buried with our other family dogs in my sister's yard. She has a headstone to remind us that even if you are small, you can be a fighter. She taught me that. On a funny note, when you gave her something to eat and she was finish with it and wanted more, she would wait for you to ask her and then lick her lips... it was a trip because she understood what you were saying. I love you and miss you Tootise...you are free and healed
