14 years has gone by since the trial of the 3 lives that were taken away. 3 little boys who were found and future ended in a ditch. What would have become of the lives of those boys could only be answered by God.
The 3 convicted killers have since stated that they did not do it. There is new evidence that is found by their attorneys and the theory of what did happen. Now I have read the many, many articles on this case because it leads to wonder, Could they get a new trial. Previously they stated that Mr. Byers had committed the murder and now another step dad. Now we must keep in mind that our judiciary system is not perfect. This statement was in a documentary aired on HBO. Yet, the defense is saying that a single hair from another suspect found in the lace of one of the boys is the lone killer. There has been many cases that did not have evidence but circumstances surrounding it. This case has bitter old sore wounds.
99 percent of convicted killers maintained that they have not committed the crime they are in jail for. One thing for sure the 3 in jail are still alive to fight for their lives, something that the 3 boys did not have. In this case, this is what I think. I think that Arkansas has the killers and they should be put to death or life in prison. Their attorneys are trying to find a " loop hole" in setting them free. Will they be productive people if they get out of jail? We have to remember, they were teens tried as adult. Who is going to trust them? Tookie Williams was tried on being the founder of the Crips. He did murder people but there was not " evidence " his conviction still was upheld. It would be without question if these 3 boys were productive in our society and just got caught up. But this was not the case, you had a Satan worshiper, another that was his friend, and a weak boy that want to belong. 2 Did whatever the 1 one told them to do. This was a pot that was going to kill anyway, it was just a matter of time.
Again, what great evidence would convince you to allow these 3 to go free.?
