Hip Hop is "the archenemy of Gospel music"?

Someone said that in a blog I was reading earlier. I want to clear some things up. Apparently many people are still unaware of Christian hip hop artists and Gospel hip hop.

I do Gospel Hip Hop. There is much of it out there that apparently noone here has ever heard of. Cross Movement, Lecrae, The Ambassador, etc. Christ centered lyrics to reach a new generation of kids who need Jesus.

God loves all music that spreads His message. I think some people will be supprised when they hear all the different music in heaven. God said to make a joyful noise. He never set the tempo or words. I personally can't carry a tune in a bucket any more since my asthma is si bad but, I still make as much joyful noise as my lungs will allow. Keep on keeping on.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a (real)hip hop artist, a Native, a father, and husband. I am a veteran/ survivor of Memphis and I care about the community. I wish Memphis could get out of it's 1950's mindstate and everybody would get past the primitive way of thinking and ignorant racism that cripples the city even today.
