I am glad to hear that someone is questioning the MPD hiring process. I was a recent applicant and was rejected for some unknown reason. I feel as if I was not given a far evaluation. I feel and I know that I passed the tests and met the requirements to be a Memphis Police Officer. I will be watching to see the out come of the city councils investigation. You know it's exciting to get a call to say that you have advanced to the next level or phase but a let down to get a letter to say that you were not considered for the job. Who makes that decision? And how is that decision made? HR should be involed. It's like I Love New York or Flavor Of Love your picture is on a wall or laid out on table and you pick the ones to eliminate.
