With all of the sad blogs of children drowning this is one that I haven't heard anyone talk about. While I do not know the gentelamn that lost his life trying to help someone else, I do know his step-daughter, she is a wonderful person that teaches at my wifes school. My wife and I are praying for her and her family.

Hey Fly, your right it is very sad for anyone to die like that, he was out to help and the water was just overwhelming and he lost his life, his fellow workers talked highly of him, My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Fly, I have been praying for this family and the others as well. These are all sad situations. This man was doing his job and lost his life. I am happy that they located his body though. The mother of the teen is saying that she thinks someone pushed him because there is a fence around the bridge that he was supposed to fell over.

According to the CA, this was a false alarm, and his body has not been recovered. I wish the media would get their reporting correctly before releasing it. If this was my family member I would be very, very upset.

This is what was sent to me,,
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office now says divers have NOT found the body of a missing tow truck driver. The man is believed to have drown in flood waters. We regret the error in the information provided to us.

I saw the first one saying he was found, but I deleted and and this next email came in.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I will pass them on to his daughter. I hadn't heard about the false alarm report, I wish they could find him for the family to have closure.

That will be kind of you letting her no completely strangers are thinking about them. I hope they find him to Fly, it has to be hard just thinking about him out there.

I hope that the guy that fell asleep at the wheel that lead to this tow truck drivers death has a miserable life, how sad and this all could have been prevented if people stay off the dam road when they are unable to drive.
