Summer on the way and with it come the mosquitos..Can't wait to try this out, since I live in the country. Not sure where this should be posted.

Mosquito spray.....
I can't wait to try this in the summer!
I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared.
The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. A nd voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby.
During the summer, I don't leave home without it.....Pass it on.

I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it  is not as expensive to use as the can of spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don' t spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house

ARK.?? Yeah Know ,,I no just how bad and BIG those Mosquito can get and to be in Ark.?~~, I have relatives that live there and it gets BAD and those things are HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! Not any kinda mosquito spray will keep them off your skin, I will SOOOOOOOOO tell my people in ARK. about this and I will make sure I take that with me when they have an out nite party. Thanks ARK.!!:)

If you can wash your mouth out with Listerine then you can put it on your skin, You may have to add a lot of lotion to stop the drying out of your skin, better than a big as rash.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I am a mosquito magnet. They love my blood so much that when I step outside, they send out special signals to a ten state radius. I end up having to take benedryl and everything, I'm so allergic. Usually I shower in DEET. But will try the Listerine.
And yes, sonny when we lived in Arkansas, it was bad. and when we lived in Florida Keys, it was bad. it was bad in Kentucky, but not as much as everywhere else. aruggggggggg

I grew up on the Languille river in Arkansas and oh YES the mosquitos are huge. And mean. And bloodthirsty, lol. I received this info in a forward from my aunt. I have been wondering if it does work.

I lived in Fayetteville for three years and loved every minute of it. My husband worked at a leaf-spring factory as HR super and I worked at a little hospital that had an even smaller long-term care facility adjoining it. Our son went to Root Elementary and our dauaghter was in high school. We lived on the top of Juneway Terrace. Loved the Ozarks. Go Hogs.

That was in the mid 80's. We are back in west TN now. Those hungry blood suckers have me for breakfast, lunch, and supper, and all the snacks, inbetween.
