Today I watched Mayor Herenton give a press conference that was long over due.  It is my belief, every Memphian should have heard or should hear, what he had to say.  The contents of his speech is the power of God.  Let me explain?  Many years ago I told a friend (and some family) that the Mayor and the Fords were the biggest drug dealers in the city (I was drinking and drugging at the time and just talking), but most of them took me serious and a friend took it even farther.  This friend took what I said as the gospel went undercover with police agencies to entrap me and couldn't.  So, she did the next best thing to survive her foolishness, she made them think Mayor Herenton and the Fords were drug dealers.  Why did the FBI fall for such a lie?  Because both the Mayor and the Fords had members of their families associating with drug dealers at that time.  God showed me the out come of this act (lie) that I told and the purpose for the lie (act).  Everything is the will of God no matter what man may think.  When we think we are controlling something, whatever it may be, we are only doing what God knew we would do, before we thought about doing it.

Back to the Mayor.  The Mayor has been in office for so long that he lost sight of his calling and his faith became misguided.  As a person on drugs are frighten into quiting after hitting rock-bottom.  The Lord frighten the Mayor into speaking the truth today after causing him to be attacked from all directions.  Lets watch the Mayor, listen to the Mayor, and decide whether God indeed, has awaken him.  And if you are a believer, you should also be a forgiver.  May God bless and continue to watch over us.  1Peace2 out.

On yesterday, April 15, 2008 Mayor Herenton asked the city council to support him in raising the property taxes of the citizens of Memphis.  The question is whether taxes really need to be raised that much ($.58 ) at this time.  We have over 70 million dollars in reserve that he don't want to touch.  He still plan on closing libraries and community centers totalling about 10.  He wants to hire five hundred more police officers and give city employees a 5% pay raise (he said they haven't had one in 3 years).

With that said I just wonder if my imagination is playing tricks on me.  Can this be a well planned maneuver to increase a business while providing the material for the business at the same time. 

Let me share my imagination with you.  First I imagined some children playing at community centers and other children going to the libraries to study, read and utilize the fullness of the facility.  Next I amagined both closed...children running the streets, getting into trouble, going to jail and finally to prison.  Guess you know by now that the business is the criminal justice centers (jail and prison) and the material is the children with nothing to do.  But, that's just my imagination. 1Peace2 out.

Once there was a person that joined MyFoxMemphis blogging community.  The person followed all rules and never disrespected any of the other bloggers.  The person addressed issuses concerning the Memphis community and the country.  The person always used inspiring words and wrote with compassion.  The person wrote only to enlighten and to provoke thought, not to get the largest number of comments. 

The person was being watched before joining MyFoxMemphis blog site and after joining were watched even more.  The people watching the person are just people doing what they think is right.  They are employed by city, state, and federal employers.  They have wasted tens of thousands o f tax payers dollars watching the person grow in Christ Jesus.  They watch the person every move and every contact, be it  electronic or personal.  They monitor the person phone calls and they put tracking devices on all vehicles at the person home.  Some of them have been obsessed with  the person for over 19 years (since 1988).  They have gone to great lengths to label the person or charge the person with a crime.  The person breaks no laws of God and breaks no just laws of man.  The person walks Christ like as it is written in the Bible.  The person prays for them though they seek to do harm to the person. 

The person smiles everyday at the people as they watch and attempt to isolate the person from family, friends, and society.  The person lets them think they are doing it, but moves freely about the world when need arises.  When they become angry with the person they break their own laws, by doing damage to the person family vehicles, destroying the persons' property, and breaking into the persons' home.

The person is a child of God and protected by God.  The person don't lie, cheat, steal, kill, hurt, or harm humans in any way.  The person do unto others as the person would have done unto self.

The person has survived murder attempts by these obsessed people (several times).  The person is now watching these city, state, and federal people attempt to corrupt the church the person attend, to start an attack on all churches.  But it is the persons' job assigned by God to stop the attack/s, to help the churches and to help mankind.  The person just got a call from congressman Steve Cohen office (Fact).  The person must go for now.  Fact or Fiction?  You be the judge.

I have yet to see a blog about the cop that lied about being shot.  He was fired when it was determined the wounds were self inflicked.  There were over a hundred officers looking for two shooters that did not exist.  All I can say is...cops are people too, and people lie.

Now that its a new year and everyone is refreshed.  Lets not continue with business as usually.  Those of us that are citizens of Memphis should make every effort to make it to at least 12 of the 24 annual City Council meetings.  The meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays of every Month, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Some of the problems that the city of Memphis have had is due to a lack of citizens participation when it comes to exercising their rights to be involved.  Not get involved, but be involved.  This is my start for the new year and I will finish no matter what. Oh! I will be at most of the City Council meeings if not all of them.

Children taking guns to the schools are a serious problem, but one that can be dealt with by adjusting some measures that are already in place. When the metal detactors are used the 9 times a year. I am sure it takes away from the teachers time with the children and their classroom work. If that is the reason why the metal detactors are not used everyday. This is what I suggest. For the sake of the children the school board should change the hours adding a hour to the school day so that every child entering the schools can be scanned everyday and not just 9 times a year. And the childrens' education will not suffer. Problem solved. At the least until they are able to get around the metal detactors.
